Hello, and welcome to my website. Among the pages of this site you will find a multitude of images that represent a cross section of my work. As you browse through you will notice that my main focus is on aviation subjects - especially subjects involving World War 1 aviation. Through extensive research I depict actual historical events, aircraft and people from that exciting era. At the very heart of my work however, is the fact that I simply enjoy creating images, no matter what the subject.

My work is strongly realistic, and my approach to painting is patterned after the techniques of the Classical Realists. When I create an image I seek to instill in the viewer the same sense of appreciation and wonder that I have for the subject. However, my ultimate goal is not necessarily to capture the fine details of a subject, but rather to capture the visceral experience and give the viewer a window into another time and place.
