Well, we seem to hit one delay after another on the book. Due to unforseen circumstances we have had to switch to a different publishing company. Tumult In the Clouds: The Aviation Art of Russell Smith will now be edited by Jack Herris. Jack is well known within the WW1 community as a respected publisher of WW1 aviation books, and his publishing company Flying Machines Press is responsible for several of the top books in the field. There will be an additional delay as the writers and I reorganize under a new banner, but I really believe that Jack will be a valuable asset to the project. Estimated release date is now spring of 2011.

In addition to my artwork, many of the world's leading WW1 aviation historians have kindly joined the book to write within their field of expertise: they will contribute the text and some photos from their collections- some never before published photos in fact!!!
