This piece depicts a Pfalz DIIIa of Jasta 30. Jasta 30 is one of the few units to be equipped exclusively with the Pfalz. Its aircraft carried a distinct orange diamond on the fuselage and empennage, and many carried some sort of variation of a striped design on the fuselage. This particular machine is one that is visible far in the background of a photo taken at the group's airfield.

Printed on acid free stock with fade resistant inks, the print is signed by Russell Smith.
